Close House Country Club (Workshop), Hexham; Gateshead Civic Centre (Exhibition), Gateshead.

A workshop with a Muslim Women’s group commissioned by Gateshead Council as part of the Spacewoman event: the workshop theme, chosen by the women, was ‘Love’. I arranged a pamper day (Indian head massage, makeovers etc) and 3 course lunch at an exclusive country club. During the day I led creative writing activities to explore the chosen theme, whilst also shooting documentary footage of the event. The footage along with the women’s texts are collaged together in the final DVD (shown - stills from the DVD, please contact the artist to view the completed work).
